Retired from teaching Physical Sciences, I will be happy to welcome you few days in Bordeaux, France. I am living near Cours de l'Yser (bus20) and the (SNCF) railway station "Bordeaux St Jean". Agnes - 73 going on 45. I had a fabulous stay with Agnes. A very intelligent woman with a great sense of humour and mountains of energy. We shared many laughs during sight seeing trips & chats around the dinner table, which included tongue twisters in French & English. Sometimes chatting till after midnight. Anges cooked some wonderful French dishes and was an amazing hostess. Her location is excellent, a bus to the airport or main train station. She suits travellers that aren't into the party-hard scene, but who are interesting and interested in her country & culture. (There was a lot of night time activity for younger people in Bordeaux - so if you want that I suggest you stay with a like-minded host.) I will always hold my stay with Agnes fondly in my heart and wish her many more happy visits from talktalkbnb stayers. (and possibly visit again one day!)
